Senator Newman statement on Governor’s revised Safe Learning Plan

Senator Scott Newman (R-Hutchinson) today issued the following statement on the governor’s revised Safe Learning Plan:

“The evidence is crystal clear at this point: students have to be back in the classrooms. This announcement might generate some nice headlines, but parents and students need far more certainty — and the governor needs to move with far more speed — in order to recover from the damage that school closures have caused.”
