Rarick to serve on Education Finance, Energy, and Labor Committees

Updated committee rosters were announced this week for the Minnesota Senate. In addition to continuing his service as Republican lead for the Education Finance Committee and a member of the Energy, Utilities, Environment, and Climate Committee, Senator Jason Rarick (R-Pine City) will also serve on the Labor Committee.

“After a few years away from the Labor Committee, I’m very happy to be returning this session,” said Rarick. “Labor issues have always been some of my top priorities at the legislature, and even though I was not on the committee for the last few years, I still worked closely with those members on legislative issues, and carried many labor-related bills.

“Being that our state is facing significant labor and workforce shortage issues, including numerous over-regulations that are making it harder to work in Minnesota, I look forward to the good discussions we will have on how to address these concerns.”
