“My deepest condolences go out to Bruce’s wife and the entire Anderson family. Senator Anderson was a devoted family man, a dedicated public servant, and an honorable military veteran. He was a kind person and a trusted voice, and we will miss him greatly at the Senate. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.”

The family has asked for privacy and will share a statement at a later time.
