Senator Warren Limmer to serve as Assistant Majority Leader

Minnesota Senate Republicans announced that Senator Warren Limmer (R-Maple Grove) will continue serving as an assistant majority leader, a role he also occupied during the 2017 and 2018 legislative sessions. He was re-appointed to the position recently by Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka. In addition, Sen. Limmer is the chairman of the Senate’s Judiciary and Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee.

“The last two years have been remarkably successful,” said Sen. Limmer. “We reined in skyrocketing health insurance costs caused by the federal passage of Obamacare, we lowered taxes for every Minnesotan, and we finally made significant investments in roads and bridges – without devastating working families by raising gas taxes or license tab fees. But the last two years were just the beginning. I look forward to working with our leadership team and all of my senate colleagues to build on that success for Minnesota families.”

Senator Limmer represents District 34, which includes Dayton, Rogers, Maple Grove, Osseo, and Hassan Township. He can be contacted in his office at 651-296-2159 or by email at sen.warren.limmer@senate.mn.
