Senator Cal Bahr sworn in for first term in Minnesota Senate

On Tuesday, Jan. 3, Senator Cal Bahr (R-East Bethel) took the oath of office and began his first term in the Minnesota State Senate. Senator Bahr represents Senate District 31, which includes communities in Anoka and Isanti counties.

During the 2023-2024 legislative session, Senator Bahr will serve as a member of the Senate Elections and State and Local Government and Veterans committees.

“It is a privilege to be sworn in for my first term and represent the communities of Anoka and Isanti,” Bahr said. “When I served in the Minnesota House, I dedicated myself to protecting your freedoms and pushing back against big government. I look forward to applying this same commitment in the Senate as I fight to return Minnesota’s historic surplus to taxpayers and increase parental choice in their children’s education.”

Senator Bahr encourages constituents to reach out with any questions or to offer their ideas. He can be reached by email at sen.cal.bahr@senate.mn  or by phone at 651-296-3219.
