Senator Paul Anderson receives 2017 Housing Leadership Award – recognized for promoting affordable family housing

Senator Paul Anderson [R-Plymouth] has been recognized as a 2017 Housing Leadership Award winner following his efforts to promote safe, affordable, and long-lasting family home ownership during the 2017 Minnesota legislative session. The award was given to Senator Anderson by Housing First Minnesota, a bipartisan organization that represents over 1,200 developers, remodelers, and home building professionals throughout the state.

“One of our most pressing needs in the metro area is affordable family housing,” said Senator Anderson. “Housing costs in the Twin Cities are among the highest in the nation. As we continue to address this issue, we need work together to reduce the regulatory impacts, high fees, and workforce challenges facing the housing industry.”
