Sen. Howe and Rep. O’Driscoll respond to DeZURIK receiving PIPELINE Dual Training Program Grant

(ST. PAUL, MN) – Senator Jeff Howe (R-Rockville) and Representative Tim O’Driscoll (R-Sartell) issued the following statement on DeZURIK receiving the PIPELINE Dual Training Grant.

“We are hearing remarkable stories on how this program is helping create more educated and experienced skilled workers,” said Senator Howe. “DeZURIK is absolutely deserving of this grant and I am confident that they will continue to be an industry leader in manufacturing in our area, in part because of programs and learning opportunities like this.”

“DeZURIK has been a fixture in our area for decades and is truly a community success story,” said Representative O’Driscoll. “As this company continues to adapt and lead in the manufacturing of water treatment system valves, I know it will be able to put this dual training grant to good use.”

Senator Howe added, “Representative O’Driscoll and I are hopeful that the companies involved in this program will be able to recruit and retain skilled workers. This will give those workers opportunities to continue their education and better position themselves in the high demand workforce.”

The Dual Training Grant Program is administered through the Office of Higher Education and Department of Labor and Industry. DeZURIK is one of 60 local Minnesota companies that have received the grant through their 8th round of applications.
