Sen. Chamberlain condemns racist activity reported in Lino Lakes

On Saturday morning, several residents of Lino Lakes woke up to racist activity in their neighborhoods. Residents reported finding baggies containing white rice along with a racist message attached. The activity has been reported to the police.

Sen. Roger Chamberlain (R-Lino Lakes) issued the following statement in response: I condemn these racist acts in the strongest possible way. These cowardly actions are an attempt to sow seeds of hate and division in our community. It will have the opposite effect – those seeds will not take root; it will unite us against this evil. Make no mistake, I have zero tolerance for this behavior. It should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law possible as a criminal act. I support law enforcement efforts to find the perpetrators and ensure they are dealt with accordingly.
