In his latest Executive Order, Governor Tim Walz extended his stay-at-home order until May 4, 2020, and set up a process to allow businesses to return to operation if they can show they will adhere to “appropriate social distancing, hygiene, and public health best practices.” Governor Walz directed his staff to determine which businesses and workers can return to work. The Minnesota Senate Republican Caucus welcomes input from business owners and workers to help get Minnesota operational as soon as possible. Use the form on this page to tell us two things:

  1. Which industry or job you believe should be allowed to return to operation?
  2. How you plan to meet Governor Walz’s test of “appropriate social distancing, hygiene, and public health best practices”?

The Minnesota Senate Republican Caucus will collect your ideas and deliver them to the Governor’s staff on your behalf. We will also promote your suggestions through our outreach to the press and on social media. Help us Open Up Minnesota!
