Gruenhagen: Follow climate data, not alarmism

Friends and neighbors –

Climate Change alarmism is everywhere we turn. Thankfully in the sea of fear and hysteria, there are still individuals who let the data guide their views. One of those individuals is Malcolm Roberts, an engineer and Senator from Queensland, Australia. Senator Roberts has extensively researched the underlying data, and has spoken with, listened to, and cross-examined scientists throughout his career.

I wanted to share with you a clip of one of his speeches, which you can find here. He discusses a few important takeaways:

  • The levels of CO2 in our atmosphere remain controlled entirely by nature.
  • Recent real-world events support this: despite reduced human CO2 output during the 2009 recession and 2020 pandemic, atmospheric CO2 continued rising steadily.
  • No empirical evidence demonstrates human activity dangerously impacts global CO2 levels or climate. Models predicting catastrophe have proven inaccurate.

I hope you will take a few moments to watch it. Rather than unquestioned fear and alarmism, Senator Roberts recommends a thoughtful analysis of the actual data.

Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

God Bless,

Glenn
