ST. PAUL, MN –  Senator Rob Farnsworth (R-Hibbing) introduced a bill today that would reduce the vehicle registration fee for disabled veterans by the same percentage of their disability rating determined by the VA.   

“There are many ways we can thank our veterans, but I wanted to especially acknowledge the state’s disabled veterans with this bill. We have a historic surplus and live in a high-tax state. This is a simple, affordable way to show our appreciation and reduce the burden of government on our nation’s heroes,” Farnsworth said.  

The bill, Senate File 1511, has bipartisan support and was referred to the Transportation Committee. Sen. Farnsworth has requested a hearing on the bill.
