Proudly representing Senate District 31
Senator Cal Bahr is serving his first term in the Minnesota Senate. He represents Senate District 31, which includes communities in Anoka and Isanti counties. He serves as a member of the Senate Elections and State and Local Government and Veterans committees.
Before being elected to the Senate, Senator Bahr served three terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
Senator Bahr is dedicated to protecting your freedoms and pushing back against big government. His prioritizes include increasing parental choice in your children’s education; fighting federal encroachments on States’ Rights; and bringing local government back to where it belongs — with the people.
Senator Bahr currently lives in East Bethel, where he is a small business owner and an active member of Radisson Road Baptist Church. Senator Bahr is also a U.S. Army Veteran (1980-1989) and a former board member of the Upper Rum River Water Management Organization.
