Senator Robert Farnsworth (R-Hibbing) released the following statement responding to the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in South Minneapolis:

“As a legislator, educator and most importantly, a father, I know that teachers and school staff across the state work incredibly hard to keep our kids safe. What should have been an exciting start to the school year is instead marked by a heinous act committed by a depraved individual with a careless disregard to life. I am heartbroken for the loss of life that happened this morning at Annunciation Catholic church and school in Minneapolis. The families, students, and staff are in my prayers as they grieve.”
