Friends and neighbors,

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the miracle of Christ’s victory over death. The Resurrection is at the core of our Christian faith and offers each of us the promise of eternal life. This is the best and most life-changing news the world will ever hear.

The Easter season serves as a special time for us to gather with friends and family and count all the blessings in our lives. I am especially grateful for all our service men and women who sacrifice on behalf of our nation. This year, my wife, Ruth, and I will host parents, siblings, children and grandchildren for dinner and a Resurrection celebration.

He is risen! He is risen, indeed!
