Dayton Budget Falls Short Again – Last 5 out of 6 6 out of 7 Months

We were going to write a new blog post after today’s revenue forecast came out, but last month’s works just fine…
Senate Republican Leader David Hann released the following statement responding to the July August budget report showing revenue falling short of the forecast by $69 million $10 million. This is the 5th time in the last 6 months 6th time in the last 7 months that revenues from the Gov. Dayton budget of 2013 have not met the projections of the forecast.
“Today’s announcement marks the 5th time in the last 6 months 6th time in the last 7 months that revenues from Gov. Dayton’s budget have fallen short of projections,” said Senate Republican Leader David Hann (Eden Prairie). “How many more months will it take for Dayton and the Democrats to admit their $2.1 billion tax increase did not bring stability to the Minnesota budget like they promised?”
Looks like we need to update this video from May – it’s worse than we thought.
